Wisconsin Property Map
240 acres of woods, meadows, and water features…this Wisconsin property had it all! I flew out to Green Bay area in September, and the Weather Gods were on my side- the four days I stayed up there were sunny and hot! Equipped with a book bag filled with a mechanical pencil, eraser and a taped paper sheet (hey, there is a definite method to my madness on sketching a 36″ X 48″ painting!), I traversed the property- sometimes on foot and sometimes on a UTV.
During those days, I created a detailed to-scale sketch and took hundreds of reference photos. As soon as I got home, I cut the paper and set out to paint. A few months later, the full painting was born, encapsulating not just the fine details of the property itself, but also all its magic. People on jet-skis and swimming in the water, campfires, UTV riders and deer hunters. Just like a home is alive, this map is too! I’d say that adding people, pets and activities is my absolute favorite detail of any map. A lake is just too still without any people swimming in it. The trails are lonely without any people hiking them. They need life!

Who is the map for?
I work with both private property owners and businesses on crafting the perfect map for their property. This includes: family estate, ranches, vineyards, property development, parks, farms, orchards, resorts and more!
How long does the process take?
Typically, I complete the painting within 4-7 months, depending on my current schedule and the time of the year.
When do you travel to visit properties?
I prefer to travel in the warmer months of the year (May-October) when nature is at its best and I can highlight its beauty into the painting.
Can I get a digital or a physical copy of the painting?
Yes! The original painting can be art captured and digitized. We can further resize the digital file and print as many copies as you need. (Both smaller and larger). You will always get the original painting as well.
