Danielle contacted me last year with a request to design her wedding invitations. The twist? The couple’s wedding was a multicultural wedding spanning over 2 days, so the wedding invitation needed to include both elements of vibrant Indian culture and the elegance and sophistication of a Catholic wedding. Challenge accepted! I decided to combine classic Indian elements- elephants and lotus flowers mixed with soft peonies and gold foil to weave in the elegance the bride was looking for. The result? A totally unique multicultural wedding invitation, which is -to this day- still one of my all-time favorites!
Following the multicultural tradition, Sachi and Danielle had not one but two weddings! They started the celebrations with their Indian wedding ceremony, which included a lots of vibrant colors- hot pink, fuchsia and red. Doesn’t Danielle look absolutely gorgeous in her lengha? I am also really into all the sparkly jewels! Special thanks to Vivid Capture Studio for the beautiful images.
The Indian ceremony was followed with a church ceremony and reception the very next day. This time around, the colors were muted- the primary colors included a lot of white with accents of blush and gold. Classic elegance! Those gilded bridesmaid dresses were to die for and Danielle and Sachi looked super glamorous in their classic attire. Thank you Silverfox New York for the beautiful images!
