Let me start with a statement: I LOVE wedding maps. Ok, let me correct that- I love any map. Ever since I was little, I have been obsessed with maps. Perhaps it’s a combination of my love of nature and travel. For weddings, there is also the element of shared experience- you can show your guests where you are getting married- whether it’s a beach, a lone island, or a busy city. You can show them pieces of your shared history (where you got engaged, where he or she proposed, and where you like to hang out). You can even showcase some tourist spots (great for city weddings). The opportunities are endless!
What can you use your wedding map for?
Wedding Map Inserts & Save the Dates
You can include an insert card in your invitation suite that showcases the map. This is a fun little surprise for the guests- besides the traditional invitation and the rsvp card, they receive a visual representation of where you are getting married, the city or the beach they can explore, and maybe some cool tidbits (where you live or hang out, or your favorite restaurant).

A wedding map envelope liner is a great way to impress your guests as soon as they open the envelope. These envelopes will be the only envelopes your guests will keep- with a little map featuring the details of your wedding.

Typically, custom map design starts at $250 and ranges depending on the size and level of detail + printing costs. I am happy to recommend the size and paper based on your budget.
