North Carolina Heirloom Property Map
Nestled in the mountains of North Carolina is a very special family property. It features dozens of miles of beautiful trails- a true dream for a nature lover like me. I had the honor of visiting this property and spent a few days working on a live sketch of this beautiful piece of land. The architecture of the two treehouses was truly mind-blowing. I’m still puzzled how one can build a house that floats in the trees, without any supporting beams!
Another highlight for me were the trails. Imagine miles and miles of hiking trails with breathtaking views….would you ever want to leave? Luckily, the family husky kept me company at times. On my last day at the property, a rainbow sprouted out of nowhere onto the bright blue skies. A truly magical moment that I’ll always remember!
Heirloom Property Map
I call these maps “heirloom” because I like to capture not just the natural beauty of the space, but also the life within it. The meaningful moments between people, the memories that make it extra special. This watercolor property map sits at a whooping 40″ X 60″ and truly includes all the incredible details this property had to offer. Lucky for me, I’m a bit of a nut for little details, so there were a TON that made it into this painting.

Who is the map for?
I work with both private property owners and businesses on crafting the perfect map for their property. This includes: family estate, ranches, vineyards, property development, parks, farms, orchards, resorts and more!
How long does the process take?
Typically, I complete the painting within 4-7 months, depending on my current schedule and the time of the year.
When do you travel to visit properties?
I prefer to travel in the warmer months of the year (May-October) when nature is at its best and I can highlight its beauty into the painting.
Can I get a digital or a physical copy of the painting?
Yes! The original painting can be art captured and digitized. We can further resize the digital file and print as many copies as you need. (Both smaller and larger). You will always get the original painting as well.
