“Let’s elope”, she said.
“Let’s,” he replied.
So they jumped into their Subaru, and drove and drove for hours until they reached one of the most beautiful places on Earth- Joshua Tree National Park. The sky was clear, the sun warm, and their love everlasting.
This issue of The Chronicles of a Boho Bride is all about nature, bohemian flair, and relaxed romance in a form of this beautiful elopement at Joshua Tree. The location couldn’t be more perfect with the desert, rocks, and iconic Joshua trees. I was so excited to paint this suite, which essentially embodies the location of this park. Want to see how it all came together?
Now onto the details: I love the bohemian decor in the couple’s “picnic”, the jewels, woven rug, and of course- the wedding dress!
A team of such talented creatives came together to craft this stunning elopement. I cannot send them enough praise! Extra thanks to the talented Julie of Jewels Photography for capturing my stationery so beautifully!

This suite was inspired by the beauty that Joshua Tree National Park really is. The back of the invitation features a full painting of some Joshua trees nestled in the desert landscape at sunset. The sunset colors are repeated in the envelope liner as a mix of yellow, orange, red, green and blue. A bright green envelope was added for a touch of fun and play! I had so much fun hand painting every single detail of this suite and really have the chance to capture such a beautiful place on Earth!
