Wedding invitations used to be boring: three white cards with fancy scripted text in a plain white envelope. These days, brides and grooms like to go all out when it comes to showcasing their personality. Enter: trifold wedding invitations!
A trifold invitations is what I like to call “all in one”: an invitation, rsvp card, details card plus a map on the other side- all folded into a handy 5″ X 7″.
Trifold wedding invitations are perfect for those who are doing online rsvps, because there is no separate card needed to be mailed back to you. (Online rsvps via your wedding website are total time savers!). Some people wonder whether website rsvp is not the “proper etiquette” but I think that the idea of a wedding has shifted so much in the past years, that we don’t need to follow sets of rules that are not serving us anymore. You do what works for you!
I love creating trifold invitations because they are just so unique and different! Wedding maps are some of my favorite things to paint, and this type of invitation really allows me to go all out on those, since we have all this space! We have room to really get creative and include all things you and your beau love and love to do.
Since trifold invitations are so non-traditional, they work perfectly for laid back, relaxed, bohemian weddings. I tend to work with clients who love to express their creativity and who are not afraid to march to the beat of their own drum.
One question I often get is: well, how much do trifold invitations cost? You can expect to pay approx. $1,500 for a set of 100.
