Hello, boho bride! I am so excited to share the first issue of The Chronicles of a Boho Bride, a monthly inspiration kit filled with weddings, watercolors and free resources. For a while now, I have been trying figure out how to share what I do and share my gifts of knowledge, while leaving you inspired. A few days back, I was painting and listening to The Chronicles of Narnia audiobook (mind you, for the first time ever and loving it) and an idea came to me…perhaps I can chronicle my journey as a watercolorist and invitation designer in a fun and inspiring way? And the idea of a boho bride mini e-magazine came to mind!
This issue is all about bohemian woodland wedding inspiration! I was honored to be invited to be part of a wedding editorial shoot at the picturesque Kaaterskill resort in upstate New York, where a bunch of lovely wedding professionals collaborated to put together this production. The shoot was inspired by nature, boho vibes, and beautiful jewel-tone color palette: simply put, the shoot was right up my alley! The team included some real talent in the New York area (see below for a full list). Oh, and I should also mention that this shoot was featured on the popular wedding blog Wedding Chicks!
Meet the creative team behind this shoot: Stationery: Bohemian Mint // Coordinator & stylist: Royal Lace Bridal // Photographer: Spanglish Studios // Venue: The Kaaterskill // Rentals: North Country Vintage Rentals // Flowers: Flower Blossom Farm // Cakes: Crisan Bakery // Beauty: Daniela Rodriguez NYC // Favors & details: Sugar & Chic
The brief for this shoot was bohemian woodland inspiration. Raw wood, candles and fresh flowers in a jewel tone color palette. When painting this suite, I wanted to incorporate a lot of florals to mimic the natural environment. I chose a mix of purple, pink and green paired up with whimsical script fonts. What do you think about the final suite?
Now, wedding planning can be downright exhausting. Believe me, I KNOW. The first product I ever created for my shop was the ultimate wedding planner, which includes over 70 pages of various worksheets, tips, and checklists. To get you started on your wedding planning journey, I created a Complimentary wedding checklist by Bohemian Mint (click & print!) that highlights the timeline you should follow fora seamless and stress-free wedding. It’s really the best way to start your planning! It advises you on when to book which vendor, when to finalize your guest list, send out your invites and more!

I hope you enjoyed the first issue of The Chronicles of a Boho Bride! For the next issue, I am excited to invite you to the world of Marie Antoinette– multicultural style. I was honored to be part of a fantastic spread in South Asian Bride Magazine, which is all about glamour, glitter and romance. It’s going to be quite fabulous and I cannot share that with you in December!
P.S. Fun tidbit about me: I loved the entire Chronicles of Narnia series, but if I had to pick my favorite, it would be The Magician’s Nephew, closely followed by The Horse and His Boy. Which book did you enjoy the most?
P.P.S. If you want to receive future issues & free wedding checklist & other freebies & printables straight into your inbox, sign up for my newsletter below! No worries, I only send out stuff that is REALLY good! 🙂
