The beauty of this property took my breath away. Nestled in Southern Georgia, I often wondered where I was as I rode around the 3000 acres. Was it tropical Florida with stalky palmettos and prickly pears? Or was it the dessert in the West with its areas of white sand? Or was it a moody Southern Carolina with moss-covered magnolias? I met many animals friends there- a half-white, half-brown fawn, several armadillos, squirrels and chipmunks, and wild turkeys. From magnificent Georgia pines, to sturdy oaks, this incredible property had it all. And I had the incredible honor to spend 4 days there, mapping out all the little details that would eventually become this heirloom watercolor property map.
I call these maps “heirlooms” because I like to capture not just the natural beauty of the space, but also the life within it. The meaningful moments between people, the memories that make it extra special. This watercolor property map sits at a whooping 40″ X 60″ and truly includes all the incredible details this property had to offer. Lucky for me, I’m a bit of a nut for little details, so there were a TON that made it into this painting.
