I have very fond memories of working with Heather and JR. First off, they are incredibly lovely and laid back, giving me the creative freedom I needed to create their Save the Dates, wedding invitations and also some wedding stationery (table numbers, seating chart, and thank you cards). I mean, as an artist, I love nothing more than a client telling me: “You do your magic. We trust you and your vision to bring our dreams to life.” The theme for the wedding invitations was simple and clear: beach vibes, a little romance and just the right amount of boho vibes, creating the perfect bohemian beach wedding. Bingo!
Heather and JR’s wedding took place at the tropical island of Key West, Florida. Their wedding ceremony was right on the beach, with the most incredible backdrop- the Ocean. These views are just plain amazing! Heather told me that she loves pink, so there were a ton of beautiful pink flowers everywhere! For the thank you cards, I used that as inspiration, creating a cluster of pink flowers mixed with gold foil details.
We opted to do a seating chart in lieu of escort cards, which made me super happy. I spoke about it on my Instagram account before, on how much more I like seating charts over escort cards. They are beautiful, practical and you get to keep them as your keepsake forever and ever! Heather agreed, so I made a seating chart with lots of watercolor flowers (in pink shades, of course). Voila, this bohemian beach wedding came together with all the right details!

Working on the details in the wedding invitations was my favorite! Although if I had to pick my very favorite, it would have to be creating the beach wedding map on the inside of the envelope liner…I am just obsessed creating maps (you will find out soon about my new map project)!
